Tangrome Terms of Use

Effective Date: March 27, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Tangrome app and any related support or website content provided by fikamore limited (“Fikamore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Tangrome, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Tangrome.

1. About Tangrome

Tangrome is an independent companion app that helps users browse reference information and, where enabled, track personal progress and notes.

Tangrome is made available through the Apple App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

2. Apple App Store and Apple’s Standard EULA

Tangrome is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of Tangrome is also subject to any applicable Apple terms.

Tangrome uses Apple’s standard End User License Agreement where applicable. If there is any conflict between Apple’s standard End User License Agreement and these Terms, Apple’s standard End User License Agreement will control only to the extent required for the licensed app itself. These Terms will continue to apply to all other matters, including purchases, disclaimers, acceptable use, and general website and support terms.

3. Eligibility

Tangrome is intended for a general audience. By using Tangrome, you represent that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms in your place of residence.

4. Trial and In-App Purchases

Tangrome may offer a limited 7-day trial after download.

Tangrome currently offers the following one-time, non-consumable in-app purchases through Apple:

Unlock Encyclopedia

Unlocks continued use of the encyclopedia features after the 7-day trial.

Unlock Tracking and Notes

Unlocks tracking and notes features. Where available and enabled, these features may use Apple iCloud and CloudKit for syncing and storage.

All payments, billing, purchase authentication, restore purchases, and related transaction handling are managed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Fikamore does not collect or process your payment card information directly.

We may change, remove, rename, reprice, or stop offering any in-app purchase at any time, subject to applicable law and Apple platform rules.

5. CloudKit, iCloud, Local Data, and Deletion

Tangrome stores certain data locally on your device and, for eligible features, may also use Apple iCloud and CloudKit for syncing and storage.

By using Tangrome, you understand and agree that:

  • Fikamore does not operate its own external servers for Tangrome user data.

  • If you purchase Unlock Tracking and Notes, certain notes and tracking data may be stored through Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services.

  • If you do not purchase that feature, tracking and notes features are not unlocked.

  • If iCloud is unavailable, disabled, restricted, or not configured on your device or Apple account, CloudKit-dependent features may not function properly or may not sync.

  • Data stored locally on your device may remain on your device even if iCloud is turned off.

  • Data previously stored in iCloud may remain in iCloud even if you delete the app, unless removed through the app or through Apple’s iCloud controls.

  • Sync timing, availability, and behavior depend in part on Apple’s systems, which are outside Fikamore’s control.

You are responsible for managing your device, Apple ID, iCloud settings, backups, and purchase restoration.

6. Privacy

Your use of Tangrome is also governed by the Tangrome Privacy Policy.

7. Personal Use Only

Tangrome is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not:

  • resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit Tangrome

  • copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display Tangrome except as allowed by law

  • remove or alter copyright, trademark, or attribution notices

  • use Tangrome in a way that violates any law or third-party right

  • attempt to interfere with, disrupt, scrape, probe, or gain unauthorized access to Tangrome or related systems

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Tangrome except where such restrictions are prohibited by law

8. User Notes and Personal Content

If Tangrome allows you to create notes, checklists, progress data, or similar personal content, you retain your rights in that content.

You grant Fikamore a limited, non-exclusive right to process, store, display, and sync that content only as necessary to operate Tangrome for you.

You are responsible for the content you create and for ensuring you have the right to create and store it.

9. Fikamore Intellectual Property

Tangrome itself, including its software, app design, layout, written materials created by Fikamore, branding, and overall presentation, is owned by or licensed to Fikamore and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

10. Third-Party Intellectual Property and No Affiliation

Tangrome is an independent, unofficial companion app.

Tangrome is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or associated with Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., The Pokémon Company, or any of their affiliates, licensors, or partners.

All third-party names, game names, character names, item names, images, likenesses, trademarks, copyrighted materials, and other intellectual property referenced in or displayed through Tangrome are the property of their respective owners.

Any third-party references in Tangrome are provided for informational and reference purposes only and do not imply ownership, sponsorship, endorsement, or authorization by those rights holders.

11. Availability, Updates, and Changes

Tangrome is provided on an evolving basis. We may, at any time and without liability except where required by law:

  • add, change, suspend, limit, or remove features

  • change how the app works

  • change feature availability across devices or regions

  • change or discontinue any trial

  • change how purchases unlock content

  • release updates, bug fixes, or patches

  • stop supporting older operating systems or devices

  • discontinue Tangrome entirely or remove it from sale

We are not required to maintain any particular feature set, update schedule, compatibility target, or support period.

13. Disclaimers

Tangrome is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fikamore disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and quiet enjoyment.

We do not guarantee that:

  • Tangrome will always be available

  • Tangrome will always sync correctly

  • iCloud or CloudKit functionality will always work

  • data will never be lost, delayed, duplicated, or corrupted

  • Tangrome will remain available in the App Store

  • Tangrome will meet your specific expectations or requirements

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fikamore and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, use, or data arising out of or related to your use of Tangrome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fikamore’s total liability arising out of or related to Tangrome or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

  1. the amount you paid for Tangrome in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or

  2. US $25

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated.

You may stop using Tangrome at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access to Tangrome, or terminate these Terms, at any time if:

  • you violate these Terms

  • we believe continued access creates legal, security, operational, or intellectual property risk

  • Apple removes or restricts the app

  • we discontinue Tangrome

Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms end immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

17. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable Apple terms and the Tangrome Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Fikamore regarding Tangrome, unless additional terms are clearly provided for a specific feature or offer.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any updated version will be posted at fikamore.com with a revised effective date. Your continued use of Tangrome after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
